Writing, Digital Humanities, Narrative and Media Studies

Bio

Master's graduate in Language Technologies and Digital Humanities from the University of Turin, I previously obtained my bachelor's degree in Asian Languages, Markets and Cultures from the University of Bologna. When I'm not studying or working, I'm usually reading a book, writing novels or short stories (or at least trying to do so), fumbling with code or cuddling my cats. I am keen on book editing and publishing, languages and translation. You might also find me babbling about books and other nerd stuff on Instagram (currently on: @_thelastwriter). Communication, in all its forms, is my secret superpower.

My work and interests lie at the intersection of: narrative, gender, and queer studies; paper and digital publishing; digital humanities; languages and cultures; and pop/fan culture.

While being enthusiastic about the implementation of digital technolgies for research and innovation, I oppose to the massive use of generative AI in creative projects (novels, movie scripts, visual arts, etc.), and I strongly advocate for the protection and respect of human artistic expression. My goal is to foster innovation and accessibility in the digital domain, while actively safeguarding the value of inherently human creativity, which I believe is the only force capable of giving culture both a meaning and a purpose.
